Ice Plug Investigation

Dry, or pre-action sprinkler piping in freezers or cold storage rooms, need annual inspections for ice plugs.

A typical Ice Plug inspection includes:
-Areas where FPS Pipe penetrates the wall will be inspected on both sides of the wall.

Dry Systems:
    •  15 ft. of feed main pipe inside refrigerated area.
    •  15 ft. of piping near evaporator coils.

Preaction Systems (after false trip):
     •  Feed Main pipe - 50%
     •  Branch Line pipe - 20%
